For this Koala T Crafts Design Team Challenge, I upcycled a paint can I purchased a long time ago from a local home improvement store and had never done anything with it.  Using digi designs created by Sherri Baldy, "My Besties" I used the red, blue, or stars theme and used all three options (red, blue, AND stars).

I first covered the pain can with Bazzill brand paper in their double dot design and applied the My Besties girls after carefully coloring them with Copic markers. No project in my mind is ever complete without adding some bling....or shall I shall I say lots of bling....   Please don't judge. LOL.  Shiny things make me happy.  Added some shiny foiled stars from my embellishment stash and VOILA, a cute Independence Day celebration project.  This could be filled with small gifts or used to hold plastic forks, spoons and napkins for that summer BBQ.

What a fun project and my first time to upcycle a paint can.

I made this simple card today at a crop. I love coloring and practice definitely improves your technique. If you haven't tried coloring, I encourage you to give it a try. I used colored pencils and then a Dove blender pen to smooth out the pencil lines.

Here is a sweet, froggy frame I recently constructed.  The bright white and colors make me happy, just like this little frog.

Starting a new chapter!

I couldn't be happier to start a new chapter by sharing creativity and my passion for paper crafting with all of you.  I love to do all types of crafting, so don't be surprised if you find a variety of projects here in my blog.  The all-time favorite hobby is card making!

I am an Oklahoma farm girl, raised on a small farm in North Central Oklahoma.  This vintage photo from years ago is on my parent's farm, where I grew up, and really represents what life has felt like lately.
